Our 2035 milestones include:

PARTNERS IN PROGRESS: Barbados Government Tours UK Pyrolysis & AD Facilities

This June 2026 video captures the highlights of a study tour with Barbados government leaders from agricultural & energy sectors, featuring site visits to our pyrolysis & AD tech providers in England & Wales.

A government delegation from Barbados joined the Regenovation team for a tour of our UK regenerative technology partners, to see how biochar and anaerobic digestion (AD) work together in a circular fashion to create resilient farms that dramatically enhance food production in drought or flood conditions, while eliminating waste, producing clean water and improving animal health.

In addition, the tour demonstrated how the annual upcycling of hundreds of thousands of tons of biomass waste – manures, compost, fats, oils and greases, coconuts, invasive species such as river tamarind, and other waste materials – dramatically reduces the production of planet overheating greenhouse gases such as methane and nitrous oxide, while sequestering carbon in the soil for hundreds of years.

Seeing is believing – the delegation went back to Barbados ready to assess how biochar can increase fertility on depleted soils, and to use advanced AD techniques to accelerate the transition from LNG to biomethane (RNG) for the gas grid. This means that the island can soon begin to reduce price-volatile imports of food and fossil fuel, saving precious foreign exchange and improving the well-being of farmers, animals and the general population. This is truly a win-win-win-win for farmers, consumers, the island’s economy and the planet, and we are proud to be working side-by-side with the government and local communities to these ends.
